Yes, it can. Direction is being set in Photo3D Studio while operating the turntable.
Yes, it can. You may start and terminate non-stop rotation using Photo3D Studio.
Our Photo3D Studio Software works under Windows only. If you prefer using Mac, you might like to use Object2VR software. Object2VR is fully compatible with Photomechanics turntables. If Photo3D Studio is neccesary you should use one of the many ways to run Windows on your Mac. Photo3D Studio works well on Mac with any kind of Windows virtual machines etc.
The necessery things are laptop or desktop PC, Photomechanics turntable and DSLR camera. For producing high quality 360 and 3D photographs you also need some environment. Check 3D Photo Studio Kits page for variants.
